"Pesquisando ou Copiando?"

Copying or doing Research?

Descrição: Na educação básica, a prática de "copiar" faz parte da rotina das pesquisas escolares feitas pelos alunos. No Brasil, a postura do professor diante desse comportamento parece ser bastante diversa, dado que o tema ainda é pouco investigado no contexto escolar brasileiro, se considerarmos os poucos documentos disponíveis sobre o tema e os poucos artigos científicos publicados por pesquisadores/educadores brasileiros. Nesse contexto, o impacto da "cultura de copiar" na formação dos nossos alunos da educação básica é pouco conhecido. Porém, sabe-se que essa cultura desafia um contexto de produção de conhecimento que deve fomentar a criatividade, o pensamento crítico e a autonomia intelectual. Esses fatores são fundamentais na formação de quaisquer cidadãos, independentemente de suas carreiras profissionais e/ou acadêmicas. Porém, no ambiente escolar nota-se que o papel da ética, de forma mais ampla, é pouco explorado entre os alunos, o que potencialmente impacta a relação que estabelecem com o plágio durante a formação. Por outro lado, no ambiente universitário, a exposição ao tema "ética em pesquisa" é também tímida. Este projeto objetiva contribuir para aumentar essa exposição. Com foco mais direcionado ao plágio, objetiva-se promover uma reflexão sobre a "cultura da cópia", que começa na educação básica. Ao discutir a prática do plágio e "pequenas corrupções" no ambiente escolar, como a "cola", discutiremos aspectos associados à cidadania e formação de cientistas na universidade. Essa reflexão será provocada através de um "papo com pesquisadores", que abordarão questões sobre a temática compartilhando suas experiências e vivências, em suas áreas de pesquisa específicas.
